For the first Sunday of Advent, Sean Fletcher visits a Christmas fair in the stunning Blair Castle in Perthshire and meets Christians preparing for the Christmas season. TV star and singer John Barrowman reflects on his personal faith and performs a song close to his heart, Be Thou My Vision. Sean also meets stallholder Jean Alexander, who makes unique teddy bears. Her faith has sustained her and helped her to forgive those who killed her husband in 1997. Sean learns about the Christian history of the Blair Castle estate from archivist Keren Guthrie. In Aberdeenshire, Claire McCollum joins ultra-marathon runner Mark Calder to raise awareness of Christians living in Iraq. Together, they reflect on peace during the advent season.
