Die Maroder haben Correon, Paul und Riana gefangen genommen. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Maroder größtenteils Leute sind, die von den Spellbindern verbannt wurden. Auch Zander befindet sich unter ihnen. Ashka verfolgt die Maroder mit dem Flugzeug, aber Paul gelingt es, die Energiequelle für das Flugzeug zu zerstören - und es stürzt mit Ashka und Gryvon ab. Die Maroder verwischen ihre Spuren vor Ashka und Gryvon und bringen Paul, Riana und Correon in ihr Lager. Am Abend verurteilen sie ihren Todfeind, den Spellbinder Correon, zur Verbannung in die Wüste. Paul gelingt es Correon nachts zu befreien und flieht mit ihm. Aber sie können keinen Ausweg aus dem Felsenlabyrinth finden.
The Marauders turn out to be regular people who had been banished by the Spellbinders and so disguised themselves. They capture Paul, Riana and Correon and take them to their camp in a labyrinth on the edge of the forest. Ashka and Gryvon have combined forces with another Spellbinder, Lucas. Convincing them they are chasing renegades, they are close on the trail of Paul and the Marauders. Paul manages to convince one of the Marauders of his story. He helps him get equipment and directs him out of the labyrinth.
Les Maraudeurs sont des gens qui ont été bannis par les Maîtres des Sortilèges. Ils capturent Paul, Riana et Correon et les emmènent dans leur camp, dans un labyrinthe de roches au fond de la forêt. Ashka et Gryvon font croire à un autre Maître des sortilèges qu'ils poursuivent des renégats. Ils se lancent tous les trois aux trousses de Paul et des Maraudeurs...
