This WW2 Parachute Ration was used on emergency bailouts and landings. Produced for less than one year, this MRE is one of the rarest. Essentially a K Ration in a can - this is a pioneering survival ration that by 1944 became the Emergency Parachute Ration. Then evolving into Food Packet Survival Arctic and Survival Tropic in 1950. Which then by 1965 was finalized into Food Packet Survival General Purpose - which is still in service to this day. This ration cost $650. Typically they run between $700-$1,000 in this current market. And thank you everyone for watching & subscribing - hope you enjoyed this one, as I certainly did making it! -Steve
