Als Gunnar Ende November in sein Büro im NDR wollte, stand er vor verschlossenen Türen. Alles war abgeriegelt, keiner durfte mehr das Gebäude betreten. Der Grund dafür ist ein Baustoff, der eigentlich schon lange verboten ist: Asbest. Doch in vielen Gebäuden aus den 60er, 70er und 80er Jahren schlummert die krebserregende Faser noch immer. Im NDR hat man durch Zufall während eines Umbaus entdeckt, dass in einem Bürohochhaus Asbest verbaut wurde. Der Sender hat sofort reagiert und das betroffene Gebäude gesperrt. In seinem Video zeigt Euch Gunnar gemeinsam mit seinem Kollegen Jörg Hilbert, wie häufig die Krebsfaser auch heute noch Probleme bereitet und wie tückisch sie ist.
When Gunnar wanted to go to his office at NDR at the end of November, he found the doors closed. Everything was sealed off and no one was allowed to enter the building. The reason for this is a building material that has actually been banned for a long time: asbestos. But the cancer-causing fiber still lies dormant in many buildings from the 60s, 70s and 80s. On NDR, it was discovered by chance during a renovation that asbestos had been installed in a high-rise office building. The station reacted immediately and closed the affected building.
