Young Ben Dyker, a talented and passionate footballer, and his father arrive in the sleepy village of Brenton—setting up camp beside the local football pitch. While Ben is eager to immerse himself in the sport, his father, a former footballer whose career ended with a broken leg, harbours a deep resentment towards the game.
