自幼失去双亲的尹夏沫（张雪迎饰）有着自己的演艺梦想，但她同时也肩负起给弟弟治病的责任。她签约了一家演艺公司成为练习生，之后在新人选拔大赛中，克服了当众不能歌唱的障碍，取得亚军，获得了发唱片的机会。作品的成功帮助她赢得了年度新人奖，使她在业内崭露头角。夏沫的演艺天分被某游戏公司创始人欧辰（秦俊杰饰）发现，于是该公司的首部影视作品便邀请夏沫出演女主角。夏沫凭借演技和口碑获得了巨大成功，而在激烈的市场竞争中，欧辰公司却遭遇到经营困境。在濒临破产之际，夏沫坚守初心，和欧辰一起携手度过难关，最终成就了双方的事业，也收获了幸福的爱情。
