Jay si fa convincere da vecchi amici a partecipare a una gara di surf, ma durante un allenamento si fa male ad una caviglia ed è costretto a ritirarsi... prima di tornare a casa decide però di regalare la sua tavola a Bradin. Intanto Ava organizza un servizio fotografico per i suoi primi abiti e la fotografa, Rachel, è una vecchia fiamma di Johnny che si ingelosisce vedendola con uno dei modelli. Nikki e Darrick hanno il compito di riordinare il garage, ma nella foga di mettere tutto in ordine, perdono una scatola indispensabile per il lavoro di Ava, che verrà prontamente ritrovata da Johnny.
