In the anthropomorphic feline metropolis of Megakat City, two ex–Enforcer pilots—Jake "Razor" Clawson and Chance "T‑Bone" Furlong—are dishonorably discharged and relegated to working at a salvage yard. Defying authority, they build the high-tech Turbokat jet and transform into the masked vigilantes known as the SWAT Kats. With their secret base beneath the yard and only reluctant support from Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs, they take on a rogue’s gallery of threateners—from sorcerers like the undead Pastmaster, ingenious villains like Doctor Viper and Dark Kat, to robotic gangsters like the Metallikats—each battle testing their resolve and resourcefulness as custodians of Megakat City's fragile peace.
