In the second episode of UNILAD’s new original series: ‘The Dark Side of Britain’, we explore the ever growing issue of the illegal puppy trade. The illegal puppy farming trading has increased by 75% in the last year, with an estimated 400,000 farmed puppies being sold to British buyers. Many are bought online and sadly 20% of these puppies die within the first 6 months. In this episode we follow a group of campaigners who are pushing for a ban on third-party sale of puppies through pet shops and dealers, to give all dogs the right to a better life.
