The Savage Street

Richard Kimbe arbeitet bei dem Zigarrenmacher Jose Anza. Als dessen Sohn Jimmy Streit mit den Nachbarn anfängt, schaltet sich die Polizei ein. Einer von ihnen erkennt Kimble. Dieser kann zwar fliehen, wird aber angeschossen. Zum Glück findet ihn Jimmy und bringt ihn in ein sicheres Versteck. (Text: Premiere)

Kimble is working at a cigar-making store owned by Jose Anza, and becomes close friends with his son Jimmy. Jimmy is caught between the expectations of his demanding father who wants him to play the violin and the harassment Jimmy receives from three street punks. When Kimble is shot in the leg after the police discover him, Jimmy hides the fugitive from both his father, and his uncle Miguel, a police officer determined to capture the fugitive.

José Anza fabrique des cigares et essaie d'inculquer à son fils Jimmy les traditions du métier. Jimmy, un bon garçon qui, par ailleurs prend des leçons de violon, est attaqué à la sortie de son cours. Richard Kimble vient au secours du jeune homme. Mais la police locale identifie le fugitif...
