Tsubame is a second-year student at the prestigious Meiran Academy High School. While the school is controlled by an elite group of eight students known as the "Platinum 8", Tsubame is just an ordinary student. One day, she is suddenly made student council president as part of a scheme by the Platinum 8. Overwhelmed by the unexpected responsibilities and burdened with menial tasks, she struggles to keep up. When the vice president takes the fall for the Platinum 8 and faces expulsion, Tsubame tries to save him, only to discover the ugly truth hidden beneath the school’s polished image. Just as she begins to lose hope, a mysterious man appears before her.
ツバメ(広瀬すず)は、名門明蘭学園高校に通う高校2年生。明蘭学園にはプラチナ8と呼ばれる8人の生徒が存在し学園を牛耳っている中で、ツバメはごく普通の生徒であった。そんなある日、ツバメは、プラチナ8の策略で突然生徒会長にされてしまう。生徒会長だからと何かと雑用を押し付けられ、ツバメは戸惑うばかり。そんな中、生徒会副会長の油森(須賀健太)がプラチナ8の生徒たちの身代わりとなり退学の危機に。油森を救おうと奔走するツバメの目に映るのは、素敵な学園という皮をかぶった｢腐った世界｣の実情だった…何もできず崩れ落ちるツバメの前に、謎の男(神木隆之介)が現れ…。
