1918: Germany's Last Gamble

Using ""Storm Trooper" tactics, the Germans launched attacks against the British with devastating results. In just three weeks, the Allies lost 400,000 men. Completely overwhelmed, General Haig issued his famous "Backs to the Wall" message to the troops. The lack of resources caused by naval blockades and the first appearance of "Spanish Influenza" meant that the German forces halted.

Die deutsche Frühlingsoffensive führte beinahe zum Sieg Deutschlands über die Alliierten, indem neue Taktiken wie der Einsatz von Sturmtruppen entwickelt wurden. Die Alliierten verloren so innerhalb von 3 Wochen 400.000 Mann. Der Mangel an Ressourcen durch die Seeblockaden und die große Zahl unterstützender, amerikanischer Truppen führte letztendlich aber zum Scheitern der Deutschen.
