A five-part drama chronicling the life of the painter, sculptor, musician, scientist and engineer (1452-1519). The opener traces Leonardo's childhood in the Tuscan village of Vinci through his apprenticeship under Verrochio Adult Leonardo: Philippe Leroy.
Part 2. In 1482, at the age of 30, Leonardo (Philippe Leroy) takes up residence at the court of Ludovico in Milan, spending most of his time composing music and designing games and costumes for the rich.
Part 3. In 1499, the French invade Milan, and Leonardo (Philippe Leroy) seeks refuge in Venice, where he designs fortifications; the masterpiece "The Last Supper" is unveiled.
In Part 4, Leonardo confronts the young Michelangelo (Bruno Cirino); and later designs weaponry and a flying machine. Leonardo: Philippe Leroy.
As the story concludes, Leonardo (Philippe Leroy) enters a period of scientific endeavor, making anatomical studies based on corpses and drawing up plans for urban renewal.
