To promote it stellar 1962-1963 line-up of comedy programs, CBS presented "Opening Night," a one-hour variety show starring Lucille Ball, Danny Thomas, Andy Griffith, Garry Moore and Jack Benny. Included was a dance sequence introducing The Lucy Show.
