This is the serial from which Tarzan and the Green Goddess is an edited compilation of sorts. Our story begins in Africa, where three explorers are preparing to venture to the deep jungles of Guatemala in search of a statue known as the "Lost Goddess." The figure is not only studded with precious jewels, but also holds the secret for a powerful explosive formula. Meanwhile, Tarzan learns that his beloved friend D’Arnot is lost in the Guatemalan jungle, so he joins the others on the ship. Once in Guatemala, the action begins! Tarzan joins forces with Martling and finds D’Arnot, but PB Raglan’s evil character emerges. Raglan gets the statue, while the others are captured by natives and held hostage. Viewers will love how Tarzan rescues everyone and pursues Raglan to get the statue for Martling and Ula!
