Dr. Ansel Augustine lived through one of the deadliest hurricanes ever to hit the U.S. Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast of the United States August 29, 2005. The Category three storm itself did a great deal of damage, but its devastating aftermath, especially for Dr. Augustine, was even more catastrophic.
