Nier Automata, as Yoko Taro games are wont to do, pulled off something incredibly special. When I played OG Nier that was already a peerless experience, but Nier Automata takes that to another level. In the lineage of other games that have played with the meta of games (Undertale, Spec Ops, etc.), Nier Automata takes a revolutionary step in giving your in-game actions real-world impact.
