  • S01E01 Home on the Ranch

    Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond's throwing open her Oklahoma ranch for a brand-new food series with juicy slices of frontier life. Then, stand by for the moment when Todd gets the surprise of his life. Well, if his brother hasn't let the cat out the bag.

Then when the guys are away, eating steak and potatoes, the girls will play, and Ree's throwing a cowgirl's dinner the guys would hate with elegant, sophisticated goat cheese with dill appetizers, chilled sangria, and a hip fig, prosciutto and arugula pizza. There's only one guy allowed and that's Charlie – he's always invited.

But stand by for dinner and breakfast crashers, as well as a cool, refreshing Oklahoma-style cherry limeade and one accidental ranch wife who is not planning to help with the fence painting. We'll see.

Then the Drummonds are hitting town for the annual Christmas parade of lights before heading back to the ranch for a fabulous feast of Prime Rib with a rosemary salt crust, elegant Duchess Potatoes, nine-hour Burgundy Mushrooms and scrumptious Whiskey Cream Sauce. Ree's sharing all her secrets for a delicious Christmas, frontier style. You're all invited to celebrate!

  • S02E01 Ranching in the Mist

    Ree plans the night before for a cowboys and cowgirls lunch at the lodge after a big morning working calves on the ranch. The next day, everyone's up at first light and when they head out to the range, Ree slams pop pulled pork in the oven to slow cook and fits in some photography for her blog. With time to spare Ree heads back to the lodge to finish making a well earned lunch for the entire crew of hungry cowboys, kids and family.

    Ree hasn't been to the store in weeks and she's still got another day to go before she can hit town. The night before Ree gets ahead with strawberry oatmeal bars, then before the bell rings she's serving up make ahead muffin melts for the kids. Then up at the lodge they're joined by the other moms and kids where strawberry jam is the first period in a cool lesson mixing science and cooking, followed by a nature trail around the ranch while Ree makes lunch for the hungry kids- broccoli cheese soup on hollowed out bread bowls.

There's time for one last treat, beautiful Bruschetta, before the crew arrive home and it's back to cowboy cooking.

For dinner, Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp with hot crusty bread followed by a fabulous Raspberry Tiramisu. Turn back the clock to the 1980s, there's going to be a riot at the ranch!

Then for dessert, a fabulous Strawberry Sparkle Cake inspired by Chuck's great-grandmother's recipe.
