Season 1

  • S01E01 New Friends

    The reality cast features Jerri Manthey (Survivor: The Australian Outback), Emmanuel Lewis (Webster), rapper-turned-preacher MC Hammer, Corey Feldman (""The Goonies""), Gabrielle Carteris (Beverly Hills, 90210), Brande Roderick (Baywatch Hawaii) and Motley Crue's Vince Neil. The ""stars"" move into a Hollywood Hills mansion and are filmed going about their daily lives over the course of 10 days. The opener features a group trip to the grocery store that necessitates a crash course in home economics and sparks a debate over the moral motivations behind vegetarianism.

  • S01E02 Camping

    Upon arrival at the campsite, the housemates find one luxury tent – reserved for Jerri – and complete with champagne and gourmet food. The group breaks into three two-member teams to compete for the right to join Jerri in the luxury tent. After a rowboat race and a three-legged run, Jerri surprises everyone with her choice of the lucky individual who will share her tent, while the losers struggle to set up their own small tents.

    The housemates paint the town red in Las Vegas. Tensions among the roommates heat up when Vince Neil is irritated by a taxi driver and Corey Feldman gets on Gabrielle Carteris' last nerve. The roommates then take on Vegas in their own ways: the girls get a little wild at a strip club and some of the guys have a dance off at Fatburger. After a long night of heated arguments and hard partying, they return to Los Angeles for a spirit-filled worship service led by MC Hammer at the First A.M.E. church.

    The couple speak their vows before a rabbi and minister MC Hammer. Housemates Jerri Manthey, Gabrielle Carteris, Emmanuel Lewis, Vince Neil and Brande Roderick are all in attendance, along with guests who include Playboy magazine's Hugh Hefner. Manthey originally told Feldman she thought a TV wedding was a bad idea, but she serves as videographer of the ""absolutely beautiful"" affair that she's ""honored"" to be a part of. But the joyous occasion is bittersweet: The next day the seven celebs must pack up and say their goodbyes.

  • S02E01 New Roommates

    A one-hour reality series from the producers of ""Road Rules"" and the upcoming Next Action Star. Intriguing and notorious celebrities including Tammy Faye Messner, Ron Jeremy, Erik Estrada, Rob Van Winkle (a.k.a Vanilla Ice), Trishelle Canatella and Traci Bingham once again find themselves in the spotlight as they work the nightshift at a famous restaurant on the Sunset Strip, take a trip to a nudist colony, go crazy at a porn pool party and tell all to Sally Jesse Raphael.

  • S02E02 Mel's Diner

    Housemates report to work at Mel's Drive-In, where manager Gary Coleman loses control of his staff and suffers a meltdown. When, Todd Bridges, former 'Diff'rent Strokes' star shows up, Gary is humilated and upset that the gang can't pull together, so Gary leaves. Todd Bridges then takes over as manager for the night. Also, the gang decides to sell cookies to their new neighbors.

  • S02E03 A Psychic, A Drunk, and a Hairy Monster

    A psychic arrives at the house and evokes a wave of emotions among the housemates. Trishelle parties too hard and makes an unsuccessful pass at Vanilla Ice. The Surreal Times reveals that Ron Jeremy has been chosen to direct the gang in a play for local school kids.

  • S02E04 Book Signing & Pool Party

    Erik, Rob, Trishelle and Traci see another side of Tammy when her gay following shows up for a book-signing for her autobiography, I Will Survive...And You Will Too. Meanwhile, Rob stays back at the mansion and prepares for a very surreal pool party, where Trishelle makes another unsuccessful pass at Rob and a successful pass at houseguest Andy Dick. Music legend Rick James makes a surprise visit to Rob. Directed by Ross Beritenbach, Omid Kahangi and Fernando Mills.

  • S02E05 Nude Resort

    Vince Neil invites the housemates to join him at a Palm Springs resort. Everyone perks up when they find out that they have arrived at a nudist resort - everyone except for Tammy Faye, who bursts into tears and refuses to stay. The housemates take part in a nude volleyball game, Trishelle and Ron bare all, and Rob pleases the crowd at a Karaoke bar. Directed by Ross Beritenbach, Omid Kahangi and Fernando Mills.

  • S02E06 A Talk Show, Supper and a Goodbye

    The series reaches its raucous finale with a visit from talk show host Sally Jesse Raphaël who leads a panel discussion that turns into a no-holds-barred encounter session with the entire group, leaving Trishelle in tears. That evening, the housemates party it up one last time as they exchange gifts and enjoy their last supper together. The following day, the Surreal-lifers pack up and go their separate ways.

Season 3

  • S03E01 Six Degrees of Irritation

    See this year's cast arrive in their respective rides. You'll never believe who's on this year's show! Room politics get under way and Charo takes charge while Jordan bums out at the lack of privacy. The guests start to unwind with a quick swim and a stiff drink and before you know it Brigitte passes out from ""jetlag."" Young'un Ryan seems uncomfortable amongst the colorful characters and Dave is forced to move into the closet because of Flav's snoring. And this is only the beginning!

  • S03E02 Strange Love

    Love, or at the very least lust, is in the air at the Surreal Life house. Flav and Brigitte frolic in the pool when Ryan's girlfriends come over for a visit. Date night is announced and a wild night ensues. Jordan tries to flirt with Ryan and gets shot down. Dave tries to score while Charo's a snore. Ryan gets mad at Flavor for playing pool late at night and he's forced to console himself in the confines of Brigitte's bed.

  • S03E03 Battle of the Bands

    The morning paper arrives and informs The Surreal Life residents that they'll be participating in a 'Battle of The Bands' with aspiring teen musicians a la School of Rock. Though the kids are scared by Brigitte's leopard-print bathing suit, they're all excited by the opportunity to rock with such seasoned vets. While Brigitte sleeps off yet another bout of ""jetlag,"" Charo has a mini-melt down and Ryan has a fit. Barry Williams MC's the competition Battle and you'll never guess who's team wins and who takes credit for it.

  • S03E04 Highway to Hell

    Pack your bags and start up the RV because the Surreal-ers are off to San Diego to see Charo live in concert. Flav tries to get behind the wheel but Dave takes charge and Flavor pouts. Gambling for rooms, the boys get a suite, Ryan cons her own, and Dave moves into another closet. Charo's performance wows the gang and one of her dancer's wows Brigitte, much to Flavor's consternation.

  • S03E05 Surf School

    Surf's up! The Lifers are going to surf school. Who is going to drive? Flav or Dave? Dave or Flav? By default of a prison record, Dave is the winner and takes the wheel. Flav is ticked off, but, regardless, it's time to hit the beach. Under the supervision of Big Wave surfing champs the Willis Brothers, Dave, Brigitte and Ryan are ready to catch some waves. Charo's carpal tunnel and Jordan's lack of enthusiasm keep them on the beach, and Flav is still pouting about Brigitte's non-stop flirting and his inability to drive. In the end, big bro Willis convinces Flav to check his attitude on the sand and hit the waves.

  • S03E06 Making the Single: Part One

    Rock and Roll (at least that's what Ryan hopes)! It's time to make a hit record. Jordan puts on his producer shades and the Surreal Lifers are ready to make some magic happen. Jordan quickly turns dictator and does not allow for creative input from Charo or Ryan, creating the ultimate pop song, or in Charo's words ""a crazy salad"". Ryan will not sell out and sing pop. She storms out of the studio leaving the rest of the cast in suspense about whether she will return to contribute her vocals to the record.

  • S03E07 Making the Single: Part Two

    It's not rock! It's not rock! It's not rock! Ryan is still having a meltdown about the pop song in the bathroom. Jordan's shades must still be on, because with the clock ticking, Jordan is blind to the fact that Dave's mouth trumpeting should not be a priority above laying in Ryan's lead vocals. Charo can't handle Jordan's iron fist and cracks. Still upset, Ryan finds a compassionate ear in Flav and convinces him that Brigitte should take over lead vocals. Unfortunately, Gitte is once again out cold, so with the clock winding down Ryan has no choice but to sing. With no time to spare, ""Live My Life"" is born.

  • S03E08 Haunted Hospital

    Ghosts, Goblins and Charo, oh my! Halloween is approaching, and what better way to kick off the holiday than to send the Surreal Lifers on a ghost hunt? With the guidance of a paranormal specialist, the cast is sent in groups through an abandoned hospital to search for any signs of the super-natural. Charo prays for the Spanish Armada and Brigitte and Flav run for their lives. The cast still has goose bumps.

  • S03E09 Dirty Laundry

    It's time for the cast to air out their ""Dirty Laundry"" and the return of Sally Jessie Raphael. First, it's family bonding time at the glamour shots studio. To please Brigitte, Flav takes off the clock and gold teeth and wears a suit for the pictures allowing his alter ego William Drayton to come out and play. Back at home, Sally Jessie Raphael is preparing her attack on the cast. When they arrive, they find that the house is set up as a talk show and they are the guests. Sally does not hold back, and the cast finds out the truth about each other.

  • S03E10 Last Supper and Goodbyes

    Hurt from Ryan's trash talking on in the last ""Dirty Laundry"" episode, Flavor Flav is not holding back when it comes to pushing her buttons. Charo pleads with Flav to make peace with Ryan, but he will not. At the last supper Flav is the last to show, but eventually makes a very loud entrance. When the goodbye cake comes out, Flav calms down and it's all love. Ryan starts a food fight, and the night ends with Flav and Brigitte taking one last dip in the hot tub. In the morning everyone says their goodbyes and goes their separate ways.

  • S03E12 Lost Moments

    Although regular episodes of The Surreal Life's historic third season are over, there are a few additional moments that deserve their own spotlight. Beginning with the sick puppy's snot-filled visit with the vet, the season's best, ""Lost Moments"" are highlighted, including Jordan's clumsy attempts at flirting with an uncooperative Ryan Starr. The cast continues a seasonal tradition and delivers brownies to neighbors as an apology for being noisy. They also take a wild trip to a Japanese supermarket and attempt to tame an out-of-control washing machine back at home. These hysterical, only-on-the The Surreal Life lost moments are not to be missed. As the door closes and the lights go out at the Hollywood Hills mansion the night's air is pierced with a final shout, ""Flavor Flav!""

Season 4

  • S04E01 The Surreal Seven (a.k.a. It's In My Contract!)

    A checker cab driven by reality TV über-fan Kathy Griffin picks up each of the housemates and drops them off at the house. Chyna runs amok, stealing, moving things, thigh-mastering and generally causing chaos. Da Brat's afraid of being in the house with has-beens. Chris tries to maintain the peace when Verne tells Chyna that her private room is his (""it's in my contract""), and the others wonder what it is they've gotten themselves into. Once the room conflict has been resolved, the cast gathers for ""Dinner on Adrianne,"" which will forever change the way the cast feels about sushi, particularly Verne, who shows a big ""perve"" can be in a small package. Later, Jane and Adrianne go skinny dipping, while Verne drinks too much and passes out. Chris, the new father to this wacky quasi-family, carries Verne to bed, only to get a bizarre ""nose-job"" from the soused dwarf.

  • S04E04 Three Crushes

    As the cast returns back from their camping trip they find out that their house has no been turned into a spa. Unfortunately the spa is albeit one run by a man with a questionable approach to issues of personal space. After they've had their chakras stroked, everyone, except Verne, decides to celebrate Chris's birthday with an impromptu visit to a strip club. And, in a surprise late night revelation, Adrianne spills the beans to Brat about her crush on Mr. Brady.

  • S04E05 Celebrity Pitch Fest

    Adrianne continues to pursue for Chris' affection, but still not getting much of a response back. Meanwhile, the cast heads to VH1 offices where they try to get a development deal going so they can create a new series---giving us the chance to meet the mysterious Missy and watch as she and Chyna Doll pitch their ""Man-Eaters"" concept to a befuddled executive panel. Adrianne and Chyna Doll wrestle and Chris confronts Adrianne's outrageous behavior.

  • S04E06 I'm With Cupid

    Date night for the Surreal Life cast! A winged Ron Jeremy sets up a dating game for the castmates. Sparks fly as the couples love or loathe their new partners because some-like Adrienne-are still pining over other houseguests.

    The cast members discover that they've got 24 hours to prepare for shooting a Kung Fu epic entitled Seven Celebrities Of Death. As neophyte director Jane struggles to keep it together, they team is suddenly interrupted by a surprise visit from Chyna Doll's boyfriend Sean, who refuses to leave the house without Chyna Doll and threatens to grind the whole Surreal experience to a halt. Da Brat and others in the house catch an attitude with Sean.

  • S04E08 Seven Celebrities of Death (2)

    At the movie set, Jane struggles to bring her vision to the silver screen, confronting slow-moving actors, technical problems and a mini-mutiny in which Jane learns the harsh reality imposed by the clock. Fighting back a meltdown, the cast members pull it together, manage to do their stunts, say their lines, and get the project in the can.

    The cast goes to the race track in the morning that day before they leave the house. It's that time of the season where Sally Jessy Raphael comes ""The Surreal Life"" house with a live audience and sits the cast down for ""Dirty Laudry"" where the cast hears things that they didn't know.

    The cast shares their final night together. Jane waits for Da Brat to apologize to her, but finally confronts her. They argue at dinnre and everyone else feels like their on a slow train wreck. Da Brat says she apologized to Jane, Jane sees differently. Meanwhile, Sean calls Joanie and Joanie gets very sad. Marcus comforts her, but he thinks of her only as a sister. Da Brat & Jane finally agree that they both just wanna be friends, and all is better. The cast leaves, and Verne flips us the bird as he's on his way out.

Season 5

  • S05E01 No Way, It's Jose

    The Surreal Life is back for a fifth season with a new house and a new bunch of celebrities. “Surreal Life Security”, Andy Dick meets each celeb at the door and performs a security check before allowing them to enter the house. The pressure gets to Andy as he snaps and calls it quits before the last cast member arrives. Surprise! It’s baseball bad boy Jose Canseco! Rounding out the rest of this season’s cast are motocross superstar Carey Hart, self-proclaimed first ever supermodel Janice Dickinson, Sandi Denton a.k.a. Pepa from the hit rap trio Salt N’ Pepa, supermodel Carpice, comedic actor Bronson Pinchot from Perfect Strangers, and The Apprentice villainess and beauty queen Omarosa Manigault Stalworth. Will this be one big happy family or turn into a family feud?

    The seven new castmates compete in a bowling league against a mentally handicapped team. Tensions continue to fly between Janice and Omarosa, when Omarosa sees Janice making fun of the other team.

    The Surreal Life cast has to put together a burlesque show at a Hollywood nightclub. Jose Canseco is thrilled about the challenge, and even uses the opportunity to explore his feminine side. But some of the cast, particularly Janice Dickson is not excited over it. Janice becomes more and more isolated from the rest of her housemates.

  • S05E04 Backyard Makeover Surreal Edition

    The celebrities get their next assignment - rebuilding a backyard for a battered women's shelter. Omarosa is designated as the team leader, a job that the other members of the group quickly reassign to Carey, who has had experience in landscaping. By the end of the day, despite complaints from Janice and a power trip from Omarosa, the cast completes the job and is given the ulitimate reward when they see the faces of the women and children.

    An exhausted Surreal Life cast is not too happy when finding out their next challenge will be traveling to Gorman where they'll learn to ride dirt bikes. Jose admits he has a life-long fear of motorcycles as they suit up, rev up and compete for the title of ""Biker of the Day."" With Carey showing the basics, everyone has a good time, and Caprice walks off with a new mini-motorcycle. Later, an impromptu sexy, cross-dressing slumber party reveals Jose's feminine side.

  • S05E06 Vegas Dead Ringers

    The celebrities play a game of baseball, with team captain Jose, against a group of Las Vegas celebrity impersonators. Although the final score is very close, the Surreal Lifers we love beat the Dead Ringers, including Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Jose Canseco himself! Later, the cast, finished with their pit stop, takes the improved Surreal Life charter bus to the Palms Hotel, where everyone goes to a club to party. But Janice parties harder than ever, ticking some of her fellow celebrities off.

    The Surrealifers awake to find the living room rearranged for a group therapy session with in-house advisor, Florence Henderson as "Dr. Flo"! Can Maven face the truth about his pain? Will Andrea finally come clean with Florence when she is shown footage of herself aggressively badmouthing Flo? And, can Tawny cope with any advice or criticism given to her, or is this just one more reason for her to think Florence is "a pushy, pain in the ass"? It's the moment they've all been dreading, Mrs. Brady challenges them to come clean and face their biggest fears.

  • S06E09 Check-out Is At Noon, Parts 1 and 2

    The final morning finds the guests packing and reminiscing about their time at the Surreal Life Motel. Tawny spends most of the day sleeping and ignoring the rest of her cast mates. Later, tensions begin to bubble in the house as Tawny breaks up with her fiancé on the phone. In complete disbelief, the cast watches as Tawny throws her clothes off, and jumps into the pool naked. CC is left scratching his head and wondering what has happened to Tawny in the last few days. She has become completely erratic. Once reclusive and closed-off from the rest of the cast, Tawny is now skinny-dipping, and sensually kissing the other women on the lips. Better order some room service, it's going to be a very bumpy final night at the Surreal Life Motel.
