Picard uses the Defiant as a toy to attack alien ships. Picard activates the bomb he hid inside O'Brien and destroys DS9, but Sisko and crew escape on Runabouts and attack the Enterprise and retake the Defiant. But Picard telepathically directs the Borg to assimilate the Defiant with Sisko on board.
