Amazon on the Brink: Global Impact of Deforestation

Deforestation is ravaging the Amazon. Illegal loggers are destroying wide tracts of forest and massive agricultural corporations are buying up land to develop into farms. Scientists warn we are fast approaching a tipping point beyond which the forest's collapse will be irreversible. If this happens, they say there will be serious consequences on global climate and food supply. We talk to experts about the last-ditch efforts to save the world's largest rainforest and what we can do to play our part. Guests: Ito Akihiko (Professor, The University of Tokyo) Fuma Kenji (CEO, Neural)
