物語の舞台は未知なる力を持つ惑星エレメントロス。主人公オプティマスプライムは仲間であるメガトロンを追い、この地に降り立つ。その地でオプティマスは、エナジービーストであるキリン型のトランスフォーマー「ライトロング」と出会う。ライトロングによればエレメントロスに住む動物や恐竜の姿をしたエナジービーストたちは炎、水、大地、自然、雷、5つの属性の力「エレメントエナジー」を秘めているという。そんな中、突如襲い来るメガトロン。オプティマスとライトロングは絆の力で変形合体【ワイルドッキング】の能力を覚醒させる。動物たちと力を合わせるオプティマス、恐竜たちを従えるメガトロン。その命運はいかに───！！
