A year in the life of three people with big goals. One is a singer-songwriter who was, as a twelve year old, dropped from the lead role in the Broadway production of Annie. Another is a high school basketball star hoping to make it to the NBA who, if he goes unselected, would forfeit his college playing eligibility. The third is a Washington DC legacy police officer who has big shoes to fill.
