Un asesinato con vistas

En octubre de 2007, el alcalde de Polop, Alejandro Ponsoda, fue asesinado a tiros ante su casa. La Guardia Civil lo calificó como un crimen por encargo y sospechó que rumores sobre su vida privada buscaban desviar la investigación. Tras dos años, en 2009 hubo seis detenidos vinculados a un club de alterne y un séptimo supuesto autor intelectual, cuya identidad conmocionó al pueblo.
