Many people think it's a good idea to give live rabbits to their children as Easter presents. Most of these gifted bunnies end up being dropped off at animal shelters or in parks, where they are very likely to suffer and die. Please remember that rabbits are a 10+ year commitment, and require a lot of care, attention, expensive food and veterinary bills, lots of space to run and play.
