Au soir du 6 juin 1944, Omaha Beach est un vaste champ de bataille. En plus des milliers de morts, une vingtaine de chars flottants et plus de 100 tankistes sont portés disparus. Parmi les engins manquants figure le «Duplex Drive», un char Sherman de 35 tonnes qui devait atteindre les plages par ses propres moyens. Des passionnés venus de toute l'Europe enquêtent pour localiser ces épaves du Débarquement.

On the evening of June 6, 1944, Omaha Beach was a vast battlefield. In addition to the thousands of dead, about twenty floating tanks and more than 100 tankers are missing. Among the missing vehicles is the "Duplex Drive", a 35-ton Sherman tank which was to reach the beaches under its own power. Enthusiasts from all over Europe are investigating to locate these D-Day wrecks.
