Note: accidentally switched Charm and Strange. The original version, wobbliness and inaccuracies and all, is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kXdSmAJeu4 We now have found a Higgs-like particle. It is a Boson, we're 5-sigma sure. I read about it in an article, Along with facts a little more obscure. Now here's the mass of our beloved boson: 125.3 gigaelectronvolts, 133 times heavier than a proton. It's like we're seeing the universe's nuts and bolts. The standard model's other bosons are: Photons, gluons, W, and Z. These make the forces found in every star, Plus maybe gravitons for gravity. But what gives mass to heavy things like pigs? It is our new discovery: the Higgs -like particle. My personal website, which you might like: http://vihart.com
