Serija je pokušaj da se prognani grad koji je do početka Domovinskog rata 1991. bio daleko od očiju ostalog dijela Hrvatske približi matici iz koje je iznikao i ponovno probuja mladim izdancima nove snage. Grad priča priču o sebi. Autor serije je Darko Dovranić koji je tijekom Domovinskog rata bio ratni reporter u Vukovaru.
