Hinako, a high school student with a dark past, lives alone in a town by the sea. Ce sont les mots prononcés affectueusement par la sirène Shiori en tenant la main de Hinako, une lycéenne vivant seule dans une ville portuaire. Sa chair et son sang auraient la particularité d'attirer les yôkai, c'est pourquoi Shiori lui promet de la protéger en attendant son stade de maturité idéal afi n de la dévorer. Hinako se retrouve alors face à une mort absurde et imminente, qui vient troubler ses sentiments.
Hinako é uma garota que mora sozinha à beira-mar. Um dia, uma sereia chamada Shiori pega sua mão e fala gentilmente com ela.
