If playing with this variant, give each player one “Last Bid” card. During a bid for a mining company card, after the last player has bid, a player may play their “Last Bid” card to bid a second time. Only one player may play a “Last Bid” card per turn, this being the first person to declare verbally that they are playing their “Last Bid” card. Once a player has played their "Last Bid" card, they cannot use it again and must discard it.
