Season 2

  • S02E01 Unshot Proposed Show 201AB

    • PBS

    A) Pompy and Monkey B exclude Cali in their day's plan. Mermee brings Cali's imaginary friend to life with surprising repercussions. (Real Friends don't leave each other out of things.) B) Wish*a*roo has to leave the park for the day, and each of our Park Pals tries to be ""in charge"". (Everyone has their own strengths, relying on each other is better than bossing each other around.)

  • S02E02 Unshot Proposed Show 202AB

    • PBS

  • S02E03 Unshot Proposed Show 202AB

    • PBS

    A) Cali is frightened by noises during a bad thunderstorm and Pompy rigs a Rube Goldberg like contraption in her tree… only to catch Monkey B as the real culprit. (All we have to fear is fear itself.) B) Cali and Pompy get into a fight, putting Monkey B in the unenviable position of peacemaker. (The best way to solve a problem is by talking it out.)

  • S02E04 Unshot Proposed Show 203AB

    • PBS

    A) Mermee is being even more fractious than usual, and the Park Pals do everything they can to figure out why. (People are often mean because they are sad or lonely; reaching out to them can change their ways.) B) Monkey B's Uncle Monk is coming to town and he doesn't want to share him with the other Park Pals. (People, like possessions, are meant to be shared and/or don't dump your old friends for a new one!)

  • S02E05 Unshot Proposed Show 204AB

    • PBS

    A) Cali, Monkey B and Pompy all want something new (paints, a trumpet and a new bike, respectively). Monkey B and Pompy start working towards that goal, while Cali only talks about what she wants. (Wishing is great, but working hard is what gets you there!) B) Its gift giving day, and the entire Park Pals end up giving up something they love to get the others something that they desire (Gift of the Magi.)… even Mermee gets involved!

  • S02E06 Unshot Proposed Show 205AB

    • PBS

    A) It's Wish*a*roo's birthday and the Park Pals decide to throw her a surprise party… but it's pretty hard to keep a secret from our bouncy Kangaroo. The Park Pals have to enlist the aid of Mermee to keep Wish*a*roo distracted, but first they have to convince her to help them. (Teamwork!) B) Monkey B breaks one of Cali's favorite toys and instead of telling her, he lies about it. Pompy (with a little advice from Wish*a*roo) helps Monkey B. figure out how to tell Cali and repair the damage. (Honesty is the best policy.)

  • S02E07 Unshot Proposed Show 206AB

    • PBS

    A) Monkey B is trying to practice his instruments, but Cali and Pompy want him to come play with them. They do everything they can to convince him that he'll have more fun with them, not understanding that to Monkey B music is his best friend. (Different people love to do different things, and you have to respect a friend's passions.) B) The Park Pals have been invited for a sleepover in Wish*a*roo's clubhouse, but Cali has never been to one, and she's scared. The other Park Pals give her tips and trick to surviving your first sleepover and overcoming fears. (Practical)

  • S02E08 Unshot Proposed Show 207AB

    • PBS

    A) It's Talent Show Time… and everyone has an act… except Mermee. The Park Pals help her find her skill… (Everyone has a talent; you just have to look for it.) B) Remember when I was a baby, says Monkey B, and (utilizing flash backs of baby versions of our puppets) Wish*a*roo reminisces about all of the park palls as babies and the huge strides they've make since then. (The process of growing up, new skills, new responsibilities.)
