Hitler plant die Ardennenoffensive als seinen letzten Schachzug. Als seine Armee zum Rückzug gezwungen wird, beginnt sich das Blatt zu wenden. Am 31. Januar stehen die sowjetischen Streitkräfte kurz davor, in Deutschland einzumarschieren. Das Dritte Reich scheint dem Untergang geweiht. Hitlers letzte Hoffnung sind seine Wunderwaffen, die V2-Raketen. Churchill, Roosevelt und Stalin treffen sich auf der Konferenz von Jalta.
