上古时期，企图毁灭人类的灵世尊者被斗魂卫唤醒玄黄之剑封印。如今人类的欲望无限膨胀，掠夺资源，破坏环境，这种黑暗气息弥漫使得玄黄之剑被侵蚀，苏醒后的灵世尊者将自己黑暗之力传送出去，在人类组织暗夜罗刹教，一方面寻找遗落的玄黄之力，企图解开自己的封印，另一方面四处灭杀斗魂卫后裔，以解除后顾之忧。张山峰意外卷入一场纷争，体内斗魂被激发，他利用斗魂的力量，救出了身处险境的斗魂卫后裔上官明月。张山峰知道了自己斗魂卫后裔的身世，主动肩负起寻找其他斗魂继承人，然后对抗邪恶组织，拯救人类的重任，一场惊心动魄的历险故事就此拉开序幕……
