Eui-joon, uno studente universitario di 25 anni, lavora in un minimarket e affronta quotidianamente minacce da clienti abituali, dei gangster. Non può fare a meno di tremare ogni volta che li saluta, ma la paga oraria elevata è troppo allettante per rinunciare. Un giorno, durante il suo turno, Eui-joon si trova nei guai, ma inaspettatamente un uomo di nome Gun-woo lo tira fuori dalla situazione. Poiché Eui-joon ammira chi difende la giustizia, si sente estremamente grato a Gun-woo. Eui-joon nota Gun-woo comprare alcol e sigarette, ma da quando Gun-woo ha acquistato "quella cosa", Eui-joon non riesce a smettere di pensare a lui più che mai.
