胡钟秀（潘虹 饰）是一家大型百贷公司的老板，身家数亿，在外人看来能呼风唤雨的女强人心中却有着不为人知的伤痛。丈夫已到天国，生前对她不忠不义，死后给他留下一双儿女——患有沟通障碍的儿子姜希宇（李易峰 饰）和反叛的女儿姜希妮（杜十五 饰）。由于姜希宇在住院期间爱上了护士徐盈（薛凯琪 饰），胡钟秀请院长做媒，但徐盈不为姜家财富所动，她心里早装着另外一个男人韩振宇（李宗翰 饰），而振宇则是希宇爸生前与他人鬼混所生的私生子，胡钟秀碍于脸面未捅破这层窗户纸。此时的徐盈不知道振宇已和他人结婚，后来得知自已苦等了三年的振宇早已结婚，徐盈立刻陷入极度悲伤之中，而发现有机可乘的胡钟秀立刻展开撮合行动……
