Золото Лагина

Конец 70-х. Министерское начальство недовольно председателем золотодобывающей артели «Северная» Лагиным: он не делится с ними деньгами, но при этом платит большие зарплаты рабочим. Чиновники пытаются дискредитировать его в глазах общественности, обвиняют в воровстве и антисоветчине. Лагин начинает бороться с чиновничьим произволом и ищет защиту в Кремле. Он попадает в поле зрения КГБ, после чего чекисты пытаются втянуть его в политические игры против министра МВД.
