書店で店長を務める花田菜々子（瀧本美織）は、元同僚でおにぎりのデザインを愛する夫の健（竹財輝之助）と離婚寸前。書店員としての仕事も時代の流れの中、思うように紙の本が売れず、どん底人生まっしぐら。 そんな彼女が出会い系サイトＡＵ×ＡＵに登録し、プロフィールに書いた一言は、「今のあなたにぴったりの本をお薦めさせていただきます」。実際に出会う人たちは個性豊かで魑魅魍魎。男女問わず、一癖も二癖もある人々ばかり。数々の出会いを経る中で、菜々子は馬が合い、定期的に会うようになる笑顔がかわいい映像作家の遠藤（森崎ウィン）のことを意識し始める。 ３０代にして立ち止まってしまった菜々子は今まで出会うはずもなかった人と出会い、ひとりひとりに真剣に本を紹介する中、どのように自分を見つめ直し、どんな人生を歩む決断をするのだろうか。
