It’s sweet potato-digging day at Yomogi Kindergarten. Kobato excitedly gets ready for her first ever experience, but Ioryogi is quick to comment on her inappropriate behavior. At the farm, everyone is having fun digging when Kobato notices a boy who seems out of place. Fujimoto calls to him and he runs away, sweet potatoes in hand.
今日はよもぎ保育園のお芋掘りの日。初めてのお芋掘りに、朝から張り切って準備をしていた小鳩。でも、相変わらずの的外れな行動で、いおりょぎにツッコミを入れられてしまう―――。畑に到着し、みんなで楽しくお芋を掘っていたところ、小鳩は見慣れない少年を見つける。藤本が声をかけると、少年はお芋を持って、あわてて逃げてしまうのだが―――？！
