Carlos Ponce Nico tries to adjust to her new life as a widow, but the appearance of Megan – her husband’s former student and secret lover -- only makes the road rockier. Victory, on the other hand, begins renovations on her new store and meets a handsome contractor named Rodrigo, who piques her interest.

Durante i preparativi mattutini, Wendy fa una telefonata a Nico per confermare l'appuntamento per pranzo; dopo la morte di Charles, Wendy è preoccupata per lei e si assicura che non resti mai da sola a pranzo o a cena, ma Nico la rassicura dicendole che sta bene. Victory e Joe stanno incontrando un fornitore nel nuovo locale per il negozio, ma nonostante tenti di fare sentire la sua voce, Victory viene ignorata ripetutamente da Joe che si sta intromettendo in utte le decisioni in merito agli affari di lavoro di Victory.
