當朝皇帝派密探薛禮前往塞外找尋天降奇石以此穩定天下。罪臣之子薛禮決心完成任務，恢復家族榮譽。途中誤打誤撞，集合了父親當年手下兩位奇士的後人，共同上路。前途曲折，不僅有各路梟雄對流星石的虎視眈眈，還有朝堂之上的佞臣陷害追殺，危機重重。緣分讓薛禮邂逅草原少女吉雅，二人互生情愫，就在薛禮一行人得到奇星之際，吉雅意外發現薛禮父親正是當年屠殺自己草原部落的首領，自此兩人的愛情一波三折。最終，薛禮和夥伴們經受住了艱辛考驗，用膽魄和智慧完成了使命，同時也用愛與正義化解了仇恨，抱得美人歸 。
