かつて“科捜研のエース”と呼ばれた専業主婦・吉岡詩織が、日々の家事と育児に向き合いながら、科学的推理によって事件に挑むさまを描く。夫の道彦は捜査⼀課に異動したばかりの新米刑事で、推理力こそ少し頼りないものの時折“核⼼を突くようなカン”を発揮。さらに5歳の息子・亮介も子供ならではの純粋な視点で捜査に関わり、“⼀家総動員”で事件を解決していく。
