When the girl's picnic is rained out, Sweetheart finds a frog with an injured leg. Sweetheart takes the frog (she named Spot) to the vet who tells Sweetheart he'll be well in 3 days. Sweetheart takes him with her but causes trouble at Bon Bon's house and Starlight's ice cream parlor. Sweetheart brings Spot to school, but he causes more chaos.
