В современности команда всё же успевает сохранить часть данных и передать их по цепочке дальше, несмотря на давление и попытки заблокировать расследование.
Mamayev’s group enters a final confrontation to prevent the enemy from destroying the evidence and evacuating the scientists. During the battle, the characters’ personal motivations come to light: some fight for their comrades, while others do so to ensure that future generations never have to face the same nightmare. At a critical moment, Anastasia acts not as a scientist, but as a fighter, realizing that if the threat is not stopped now, the cost will be far too high.
In the present day, the team manages to preserve part of the data and pass it on through the proper channels, despite pressure and repeated attempts to obstruct the investigation.
