Bridget tells Brooke and Stephanie that Katie test results show that her health is rapidly deteriorating. Stephanie questions Bridget’s feeling regarding Nick and Katie being together knowing that Katie has a crush on Nick. Bridget is confident that Nick is committed to her and is doing this for to Katie out of the kindness of his heart. Katie recounts for Nick what made her prom night the worst night of her life. During their last dance, Katie becomes so weak that Nick has to carry her up to her room. The evening ends with an attempted “goodbye” and a passionate kiss.
