Schülerinnen und Schüler repräsentieren die Zukunft, deshalb stehen sie seit jeher auch im Fokus der Politik. In Russland sollen sie mit Propaganda zu patriotischen Staatsbürgern erzogen werden, in der Türkei versucht die AKP ihre Kontrolle über die Schulen auszubauen und in Polen wächst das Interesse an Gymnasien mit spezieller Militärausbildung.
L’avenir d’un pays se construit dans ses salles de classe. En Russie, Vladimir Poutine le rappelait récemment : "Ce ne sont pas les dirigeants qui gagnent les guerres, mais les enseignants". En Turquie, la même ambition patriotique anime l’AKP qui contraint à la mutation les enseignants critiques envers le régime. Et en Pologne, les lycées militaires ont le vent en poupe.
Schoolchildren represent the future, which is why politicians, and dictators, are always interested in education. In Russia, the government wants to mould patriotic citizens from a very early age. In Turkey, the ruling AKP is trying to expand its control over schools. And in Poland there is growing interest in grammar schools with specialised military training.
El futuro de un país se construye en las aulas. En Rusia, Vladímir Putin nos recordaba recientemente: "Las guerras no las ganan los comandantes, sino los profesores". En Turquía, la misma ambición patriótica impulsa al AKP, que obliga a trasladarse a los profesores críticos con el régimen. Y en Polonia, los institutos militares están de moda.
