Mounir neemt ons mee naar het land van zijn ouders. De route die Mounir aflegt is dezelfde die hij in zijn jeugd jaarlijks deed op weg naar zijn familie. In die tijd was er echter geen mogelijkheid om te kijken naar de culinaire schatten en culturele rijkdom dat het prachtige Marokko te bieden heeft. De kijker leert het prachtige land, de lieve mensen en vooral de rijke Marokkaanse keuken kennen.

Mounir takes us to the country of his parents. The route that Mounir takes is the same one he took every year in his youth on his way to his family. At that time, however, there was no opportunity to look at the culinary treasures and cultural richness that beautiful Morocco has to offer. The viewer gets to know the beautiful country, the lovely people and especially the rich Moroccan cuisine.
