よもぎ保育園は夏休み。小鳩がいおりょぎを洗っていたところ、アパートに届いていた『夏祭り』のチラシが、風で飛んで行ってしまう。チラシを拾ってくれたのは、アパートの前を通りかかった、女子高生。親切にも手が濡れていた小鳩に、ハンカチを貸してくれたのだが、小鳩はそのハンカチを返し忘れてしまった。女子高生の学校をつきとめた小鳩は、彼女に会いに行くことに・・・・・。
