Everyone is having a good time at a carnival, everyone except Occy who is excluded from everything. He finds a love interest in a fishing lure in the guise of a girl octopus. This relationship takes a dangerous turn when a swordfish follows it along with Occy all over Snorkland. The Governor blames Occy for causing this whole mess and banishes him to the Great Beyond. The Snorks then help Occy out when the Swordfish chases him again. They find out that the cause of the whole trouble was the girl octopus lure and Occy has to give her up for the good of the town.

De gouverneur geeft Okkie de schuld voor het veroorzaken van deze hele puinhoop en verbant hem naar de Buitengrens. De Snorkels helpen Okkie vervolgens als de Zwaardvis hem weer achtervolgt. Ze ontdekken dat de oorzaak van de hele problemen het lokmiddel van de meisjesoctopus was en Okkie moet haar opgeven voor het welzijn van de stad.
